About the Tarrnoff Art Center
TAC (Tarnoff Art Center) is a 501c3 non-profit Educational Art Center located in Rowe, NM on 10 wooded acres, just 20 miles north of Santa Fe up I25. Project PAACE:
(Pecos Area Arts Collaboration Endeavor)
Most recently, At the request of local youth, the Tarnoff Art Center has created Pecos Area Arts Collaboration Endeavor, (PAACE). This program is a collaboration between San Miguel County youth, artists, schools, businesses and the Pecos Independent School District. These youth have the opportunity to learn about and make art in a professional setting in real studios, learning from professional artists within their community. TAC is presently teaching studio arts, welding and pottery classes to these youth free of charge. This collaboration creates a crossroads where youth can explore how their local artistic resources can inform future success. Local youth explore how to take the sharp contrasts of their community to create a more blended and brighter reality.
|

*Currently Project PAACE is seeking donations to expand the program to include the PSID High School students who have no electives at this time.
