Andy Hunter is well known for taking dissimilar fibers, textures, beads, colors and forms, and putting them together, making a combination even more pleasing than its original appearance. The result is usually in the form of wearable art.
Something new from Andy: “I have an additional new creative bent this season. I call my mosaic creations 'Mosaic Icons' because each represents something sanctified. I am telling a story which may be part of the stories you tell. I imagine the story and then create the individual tiles. Once-used objects often request to be added to the story. Of course I take heed and include them.”
